Hello everyone I'm Tracey and I've joined this site as I'm trying to arrange our wedding for next year - I'd never fancied going there until I looked at wedding holiday brochures and then other website and saw how lovely it looked. I'm looking forward to finding out more and eventually going there - hopefully september.

Should be easy enough to organise yourself, you shouldn't need a wedding planner. You can book the packages through tour operators, but you may find that you have to compromise certain details. Controlling everything yourself is the best way, takes a little more organisation but is ultmately worth it! www.turkeytravelplanner.com/SpecialInterest/WeddingHoneymoon/marriage_law.html should give you a little more insight into the process involved. I've mainly organised weddings in England and married there myself, but one lady got married in Vegas! Wish I'd been there, they had a singing Elvis and everything! Like I say, I'm here to help. just let me know if you need a hand with anything. Em

Koycegiz looks like such a beautiful place, you should check it out Tracey. Olu Deniz beach would be a fab place to get hitched, not sure if it's possible though.

Hi all Emma - you can get married at the lagoon in Olu Deniz, my friend did just that last July. I have just given her the URL for this site and I have no doubt she will fill you all in on her special day, sometime soon. Tracey - there is such a lot to do to get married in Turkey (going to Ankara for the licence for one thing) that it really is best just to book it all through a tour company and let them take the strain. Mandy (my friend) did and she didn't compromise on anything. I am sure no matter what you decide to do you will have a fantastic day.
