I have had many wonderful holidays in Turkey and will be there in June with a group of friends.
We have exclusive use of a gulet for a week from 4th June from Marmaris. We then spend our second week at the Marmaris Palace
I love having the opportunity to do some research before I go about the area and places of interest.
I have checked out Trip Adviser and only found a couple of reviews on this hotel. Poor reviews at that! Any comments welcome even if they are negative. We are a group of independent and self sufficient people who will make the most of whatever we experience.
I am sure this forum will be really useful and enjoyable.

hiya and welcome annie, i haven't stayed in this hotel but have passed it loads of times it looks lovely, there was always security on the gate and the dolmus stops right out side. but like you said just make the most of everything and you probably won't go wrong.

Hiya Annie and a warm welcome to you . Julie and myself are familiar with the area, Julie is a Marmaris girl, and I prefer Icmeler. I have heard that the Marmaris Palace is lovely from some people who were in the same hotel as us last year. They couldn't fault it, enjoy your holiday ;D

Hi all, thanks for your responses. I live near The Irish Centre so not far from Crossgates, Bulent. Emma, I don't know Shipley very well but I know it's not far away.
Is there a website where reviews on gulets are posted?
The reviews look great so we may have chosen well. We are a good crowd so will have fun anyway and anywhere!!

Hi Anne
Welcome to the forum, we too are from Yorkshire - Pontefract don't know if you it at all
We have a place in Koycegiz which is on the way from Dalaman to Marmaris. It is on a lake, but you would not get a gullet up the river from turtle beach, but well worth a visit by road.
Whilst sailing try Ekincik just around the bay from Marmaris - absolutely stunning very quiet, but stunning.
