We are Malcolm & Judy and have rejoined the forum after an absence of a few months, but in that time we have retired to Turkey and have bought a new house in Koycegiz. We have met and made friends with quite a few English people and made some Turkish friends. We are now looking forward to having some hot sunny weather. We did not know how cold it could get on a night time with quite hard frosts. It is odd that its shirt sleeves during the day and thick jumpers at night. All of our winter clothes got left in England! but will be with us soon now that we have got our residents visa.  Judy & Malcolm |

Welcome to the forum - we have also got a bungalow in Koycegiz - although not retired there yet (watch this space)
We are visiting 13th May for 2 weeks - may run into you if we are lucky.

Thanks for all the messages. We certainly like living here.

Have stopped complaining about the weather. We had breakfast out on the terrace today!
