Hi Tiblett, welcome to the forum. We went to Calis in May and also enjoyed our hol although the weather wasn't very good. We have some friends who were thinking of buying in Calis also. Where abouts are you buying and what sort of property? We stayed in the Golden Moon Hotel and they were building a lot of appartments just behind it. They looked very nice. We stayed at the Golden Moon Apartments and are buying at the New Moon Apartments. We did visit the Golden Moon Hotel. Very impressed with everything Turkish.

Hi tiblett. Have fun furnishing. We did it earlier this year although no where near you. If you have a Turkish friend to go with you it's a good idea. I did a lot myself and went round comparing prices. When my Turkish friend took me round I got the distinct feeling that things got cheaper! You might find that a neighbour would go with you, several of mine asked if I wanted any help shopping. They also warned me of inflated prices for foreigners.
