A fairly simple question really, as first timers to Turkey, I was just wondering if we will get a bath plug, I read somewhere that we would need to take one. I much prefer a bath to a shower. Thanks

I took one the first time i went but didn't need it. You could take one just to be sure, but i think you'll be okay

Most hotels and apartments do have plugs, as they are catering for us foreigners. However, if you get to your digs and find you are plugless just ask at reception and they will fall over themselves to get you one and make your stay a happy one! This is what Turkey is like, the people are just toooooooo helpful...

Baths aren't as common, except perhaps in the posh hotels. However, hand-basins are and few have plugs so I'd suggest you pack a universal plug just in case.

Best to take a suction one as the plug holes on baths and sinks seem to be a difference size . You often find the sink plug missing as well.

Yes the suction ones are best, we keep ours permanently in our case now as we always holiday in Turkey and you never know when you may need one!I suppose it's all part of the fun of being in a different country. Just 'GO WITH THE FLOW' so to speak.
