my parents went there about 15 years ago and they said it was a hut at the bottom of the runway.


the worst i have been to was tolouse when i was 18, you felt every bump when going down the runway

I know what your saying Jude, I have been to some awful airports abroad, but then that is to be expected. I think with Manchester I am comparing to Liverpool to be honest............. Manchester have so much more money pumped in to it and we can't get the volume of flighte from here ..... god knows why!!! ...and little things like waiting for your cases to come off the belt after you have walked a zillion miles to get to the belt annoys me, when in Liverpool airport they are there when you get to the belt. much more efficient and friendly! It's just a far more relaxing experience going from Liverpool I think.

Yes we've flown from Liverpool a few times but as you say there aren't as many flights. The first time we flew to Dalaman from lpool it was just being finished off and there was demolition everywhere. It's cute the way you have to walk onto the apron to get onto the plane, no airbridge there. The booking in was very efficient but if you want to park at the airport itself you have to make sure you go early as you can't book a place so you have to wander round making sure you get a space. But it is handy if you find one and you can just walk across the road to your car. There should be more flights, also extend them to Bodrum and Antalya. Shall we complain JJ? Use the power of the forum to alter things. Go there with our banners, "Turkey forum says, we want more choice from Liverpool, when do we want it, NOW"
