etc.

I could progress to ordering more than one, but never mind everyone elses drink, as long as I've got mine........ ;D

Phrases I can remember from last time; Iki bira istiyorum lütfen - two beers please Bir sey degil (beer shay deel) - you're welcome Kaç para (catch para) - how much? Cok para (chock para) - too much! Seni seviyorum askim - i love you my darling (I had a Turkish boyfriend, got loads more like this  Iyi þanslar (eeyee shonslar) - good luck þerefe (sherefeh) - cheers! My keyboard doesn't put the dots on, can you correct these phrases please Bulent? |

Last time I was there was in 1998, I've not spoken it since! I used to know a lot more  I seem to be picking it up quickly again though. |

we learnt in july off a waiter in the Majestic icmeler how to stop a dolmus;
now this is the phonetic version...sso dont blame if written version means "where should I place the cucumber, efendim"
"mooseyet biryerde", (dont forget the Lutfen at the end)
and it seems to work to
means something like jsut here will do, its musch better than shouting "eh mate stop the bus, lad"

Wow...I've been trying to learn Turkish. I am having a hard time finding a pattern, but I think memorization is better? I can use some tips if there is a secret to learning Turkish. I guess it helps being around people who speak it all the time.
