The only thing is I don't think it should be for all. Then it may not work coz people would accuse the government of victimisation don't you think??

We nearly have enough in the armed forces who sign up on there on accord,if we had national servive we would have to many people in the forces, with all the modern equipment we have we can afford to scale down the amount of men under arms. I believe in the short sharp punnishment for unruly thugs and thieves in the early stages and not wait until they are fully blown criminals.

I don't know the statistics on the armed forces , maybe you are right. It's a good valid 2nd point you made though Bob.

I know they made a lot of servicemen "redundant" as the navy (know a bit about that with Alan having been in it) got rid of Alan when he was in the RNR. He became a reservist when he came out of the regular Navy and was gutted when his branch was no longer operating. What would happen if all these people were conscripted, where would they go? And the women would have to go as well as there are now women serving on ships. Have we opened a can of worms for discussion, love debates ?

I was in Altinkum up until Saturday first time to Turkey and all i can say is...Im missing it already, the people are fantastic and the kids , you notice them and theyve still got imagination no xbox`s and playstations etc they will play ball, make things and they are so good, for example i was on the beach and was taking a video of a boat when all of a sudden 3 boys no older than 7-8 noticed the video camera they ran upto me and stood there wanting me take a film of them which i did and paid them also one of the boys had a pair of shorts on that were that big he had to constantly hold onto them to keep them from falling down, i asked them to wait there whilst i nipped in a nearby store and came out with a new smaller pair of shorts for him, i sent him in the tuvalet to put them on and when he came out he was all smiles, i then stuck his old pair in a bag and gave them to him....i have never in my entire life witnessed a smile so big over a pair of shorts. My own son who lives in Aus with his mum is all want want want and me me me...i never really noticed it,until i came across the Kids from Turkey.

I find that photo quiet offensive, fancy putting pictures of naked skinny women on here, i blame the magazines for encouraging that kind of thing.
